Nice likeness! But I had to guess.

You've done a lot more puzzles than me, but I disagree. There is some tricky edge logic in rows 5-10, columns 5-15, as well as some more in rows 34-37, columns 5-15, but I don't think there is any place where you have to guess.

I only solved the first version. Maybe the second version is easier. I haven't checked.

Very fun puzzle. I like the use of the trademark zigzag stripes.

I didn't need to guess. Most of the puzzle solved pretty easily, the back of the head needed only a little extra work. I got stuck a while with just the ear and face undone. The key to getting the rest was the "5" in row 36 (with the "6 5 2 7" clue). I had four cells of that placed already, with the fifth cell being possible on either end. But either of the two placements of that cell required the "2 3" blocks in the row above to be in exactly the same place. So by either-or logic, I was able to fill in those two cells, and the whole thing solved. It's possible that edge logic will also do the trick. Good, hard puzzle.

My first thought from the title was Dennis the Menace, don't know if he fits the age or date exactly of not. But working from the bottom left, as soon as I saw the mouth it was obvious. Fun puzzle! I don't get much past plain counting for logic, so I did guess, but I do that often, doesn't mean it was necessary.

Great image. I thought it was CB at first, and then I thought Pigpen. A fun solve, but I did have to guess about 3 times.
