Puzzle Description:

The motorcycle cruises down the highway, past the WC Cafe. A snow-topped mountain in the distance, the morning air crisp and clean. Three hot air balloons float in the cloudless sky.

I love this picture since it reminds me of New Mexico where I grew up. But... I really did think the figure in the center was a roadkill! A tortoise, lizard or horned toad. Sorry! Thanks for another nice puzzle.

Oh dear, you're right. Acckkk - not what I intended. I tried to work it differently, but whatever I do, it still looks like a flattened tortoise. lol Maybe I'll move a little closer to the motorcycle. Now you have the view as if you are riding on the back looking at his helmet. Yeah. Feel the breeze.

i like the change it just looks like the headlights now

Aw heck, I decided I like the motorcycle in the picture, so I put him back in. I didn't really like looking at the back of his head anyway, or the headlight, or whatever. Now it looks less like roadkill, and he is even making a bit of progress, just a little further down that highway.

hot air balloons in winter?

Winter in Tucson is a little different from winter in other places. It's like spring time right now. The season for hot air balloons here is from October through March - it's too hot in the summer for them to go up. We see them frequently in January because people receive gift certificates for Christmas.

Well, I saw the sunset part way thru and the balloons at the end; but I would not have guessed a motorcycle and cafe without the explanation. I think color would have helped alot.

Lol...here I am finally getting around to finishing this one a full five months later than everyone else so far. BEFORE I looked at the comments I knew what I was going to say and it was:

1) I loved doing this puzzle!
2) I thought the motorcycle was roadkill (does Arizona have beavers?) until I found out it was a motorcycle...and then I could see it very clearly.
3) I thought the snow-covered mountain was a non-snow covered mesa.

i knew immediately it was a motorcycle! love how the road curves ever so slightly toward the horizon which is exactly as it should. very fun to solve. btw - our road kill tends to be deer.

I saw a flattened racoon the whole way (tire = tail). Fun pic.

Yep, I saw roadkill, until you said the word "motorcycle," then Bam! it was a motorcycle. :)
