Puzzle Description:

The face of a young beauty. If you can't see her, step back from your computer and tilt your head to the left.

This was sitting around in my box of unpublished puzzles for awhile. Not one of my best, but maybe it will satisfy your need for a puzzle fix today. :-)

Interesting concept. Yes, have done better puzzles, but yes, this was pretty fun to solve.

Thanks, Adam. Here's a mini version: :-)

I didn't see it until I tilted my head a full 90 degrees. Then it popped out at me. Not too bad, Teresa, but since it's a square, couldn't it have been done more vertically?
#5: Cynthia Lynn McDaniel (mcaardva) on Jan 14, 2010
Then it wouldn't be a head turner, silly. Perfect for my early morning fix before work.

Thanks, Cynthia.

Joe, do you mean less vertical and more on a diagonal angle? I've done a few of those already and thought I'd do a perpendicular one just for the heck of it.

Love the title!

Ok, have tilted my head to the left every which way and can't see it... can someone help?

Maybe this will help:

#11: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 14, 2010
It sure does!
#12: Deana L (ffswife) on Jan 14, 2010
Ah, ok... now I can see it. Thx Teresa

An interesting take on a portrait. With the dark hair, it made me think of Snow White after she eats the poison apple.
#14: Jane Doe (telly) on Jan 20, 2010
nice. pretty. fun to solve. perfect for my last puzzle of the night. :) thanks
#15: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 21, 2010
Thanks, Telly. I'm always tempted to call you Jane, but that's probably not your name, huh?
#16: Jane Doe (telly) on Jan 22, 2010
no, my parents weren't actually cruel enough to name me Jane Doe. But either one will work here. :)

it's perfect for my puzzle fix, teresa. fun solve :-)

Forgetting the title, I was pretty sure a quarter of the way through that it was going to be an angelfish. This should be one of those illusion puzzles because it can look like two different things. :)
#19: Teresa K (fasstar) on Nov 15, 2017
I didn't notice that before, Aurelian, but you are right!
#20: Lizzy B (lizzyb) on Jun 24, 2020 [SPOILER]
I finally see the girl! But I keep seeing a sort of cartoony alien figure with no nose bugging out at something to my right. The girl's nose and mouth are the two eyes, and the shadow of her cheekbone is the alien's gaping mouth. The sweep of the side of the girl's face looks like the brim of a fashionable hat. Either way it's a great image!

Thanks, Lizzy.
