Yeah for the sporran!!!#2: Teresa K (fasstar) on Nov 28, 2008
Now don't get mad at me, but do you see that pixel in the left center? After working the puzzle, I decided that it really doesn't belong. But rather than edit the puzzle, I think I will just make it one more level in the pixel mystery. So what is that pixel, do you think?#3: Teresa K (fasstar) on Nov 28, 2008 [SPOILER]
Is it a dog collar? doggie treat? doggie slobber? See puzzle #4180 for the answer. I'll bet you like it.#4: Beth (Shasta) on Nov 29, 2008
Very nice detail. I had to look up what a sporran is. On to 4180!#5: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Nov 29, 2008 [SPOILER]
I'm going to look up what a sporran is too...I'm thinking maybe that flat, sometimes tasseled pouch they wear in the front of their kilt.#6: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Nov 29, 2008 [SPOILER]
Yep, that's what it is...but that black pixel...could it be...ummmm...just guessing here...scots tape?
One of my daughters attends a college of scottish origin. The first-years were piped in through the arch of a crenelated castle-looking building on opening day. They'll be piped out through the same arch when they graduate. The day we attended the ceremonies there were a dozen bagpipers...a lone piper on the ramparts of the building began the assemblage by piping a solitary call. It was goose-bump time for me!#7: Sylvain "WCPman" (qwerty) on Nov 29, 2008

Scots tape - too funny, Ozymoe. lol Thanks for the story about your daughter's college. Sounds enchanting.#11: Jota (Jota) on Nov 29, 2008 [SPOILER]
Qwerty, thanks for pointing out the error in the title. My vision is not what it used to be, so I misread the small font on the page with the list of puzzles. I have to squint and my nose is inches from the monitor. I think I need new glasses.
Love the doggy!#12: Teresa K (fasstar) on Nov 29, 2008 [SPOILER]
That was the easiest drawing of something Scottish I could think of. The real images of actual Scottish emblems were way too elaborate.#13: Jane Doe (telly) on Jan 1, 2009
a tongue?#14: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 2, 2009
Good guess, but I was thinking of something else. Here's what it is:#15: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on May 6, 2010
