Are those trees on the mountains? You seem to have very nice, unique ideas.

The mountains are too far away to see the trees (pine and oak). What you see are the saguaro cacti in the foothills, standing 50 feet tall. I only drew the older ones that have arms, because the young ones with no arms would look like random fenceposts with no fence.

Right now my backyard view of the Santa Catalinas is blocked by my neighbor's 20-foot high Oleander hedge, so I had to imagine what my mountain view looks like.

I liked the poetic finish. And after I read it, I saw it.

Love it - every image is discernible. I too, have a partially blocked image of the mountains (Pikes Peak in particular) thanks to my neighbor's 60ft tall Blue Spruce.

That was a nice jump in perspective, when you described the tea. I thought the table was a faraway car or building.

What a great picture. I worked this puzzle at the perfect time. My wife and I are trying to buy a house with a mountain view.
