Does anyone want to guess at the single pixel objects?
#2: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Nov 26, 2008 [SPOILER]
Scorpions? Armadillos? Sand? Nopales that have fallen off the cacti? Accidental pixels? LOL
#3: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Nov 27, 2008
lol I thought of Arizona as soon as I saw the cactus :)

(Teresa..how about a picture for me to puzzle?)

That would be fun, Naneki! If everyone else promises not to peek, I'll show you where to find one:

First go to my website: http://fasstar.com/ Click on "background" and right click the photo to get the large size of the small one on that site. Powder my forehead please, as it looks a bit shiny.

Answer to the pixel mystery: See puzzle #4166. Hint: it's none of the above.

I didn't peek, Naneki! I'm going to wait and peek at the puzzle. ;)

Another great puzzle Fasstar! You have an eye for unusual images to make into puzzles.

BTW, I have family in Tucson. We used to make road trips to there from Oklahoma when I was a little girl. I lived there for a little while too. I was allergic to the dirt! (Probably the heat too!)

I like this puzzle, I too live in Tucson...
Check out my puzzle #116...WOW! have I been doing these puzzles that long?
#13: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Dec 3, 2008
wow clay, you've been here longer than me!

Just did it - very challenging, but I enjoy challenges. And I love Tucson - don't you? They say people either love it or hate it. My son who was born here, doesn't like heat and loves snow sports, so he moved to Colorado Springs. Now he lives just a few hours from several cool ski resorts. I'll take the sunshine and warmth any day, especially now - it's 74F/23C every day this week. Ahhhh.

I'm with you Teresa! I'll take sunshine and warmth over cold weather any day! I used to live in Peoria, Az and I loved it. I left for school, but I really want to go back as soon as I'm done, it is beautiful there!

Great puzzle :))

Nice image! The reverse contrast sort of makes it look like it's lit by moonlight. And the cactus on the left seems to be flashing me a double peace sign; maybe he was planted in the 60's. :-)

I'm going to guess ahead and say the black dots are 'yote tracks. No wait, little miniature coyotes chasing evil bunny rabbits! Trippy. LOL
#22: Adriana Hernandez (sstmofadwn) on Jan 26, 2010
looks like Mexico to me..
#23: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on May 4, 2010 [SPOILER]
Wonderful image - I love the perspective. The black dots look like decorative holes in the adobe wall. I visited Arizona in 2008 - 66 degrees in January. It just snowed this weekend in Colorado. Arizona has beautiful weather, but I felt disoriented without the Colorado mountains. I had to stop and touch the palm trees because we don't have anything like that here. The cacti were amazing - I didn't know they grew so TALL!
#24: Teresa K (fasstar) on May 7, 2010
Thanks, Linda. My first trip to Arizona was in January, some 30 years ago, from a snow storm in Colorado to warm breezy palm trees. I loved it right away.

Passed through there back in '82. Lovely little city. There was a big hill on the edge of town that made for a nice hike :)
