Puzzle Description:
My mom is addicted to Tetris, and now she's amazing at it and can beat anyone in my family at it, but she just didn't really understand it at first.

great puzzle!#2: Katydid (kmeifert) on Nov 21, 2008 [SPOILER]
I would bet that many pbn people also like tetris!#3: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Nov 21, 2008
Those are some very "unusual" piece shapes/colors. I have never seen some of them before.#4: Minnie Fuerstnau (m.fuerstnau) on Nov 21, 2008
Thanks for making this puzzle and telling us about your family!#5: Jake Griffin (jako7286) on Nov 21, 2008 [HINT]
Adam, all the shapes are correct, but I didn't have enough unique colors, so I had to improvise with the checkered patterns. I think it made the puzzle a bit more difficult to solve though, so that was a plus in my opinion.#6: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Nov 21, 2008 [SPOILER]
I got it. You nicely explained the reason for the different colors (and checkered patterns did make it harder by the way). I was just a little confused initially because the black/blue checkered piece on the R side, halfway up was right next to a blue shaped L-piece and some of the blue overlapped, so I couldn't quickly recognize the shape, but now I can. It is the two-2's-on-top-of-two-6's-piece. :-)#7: Jota (Jota) on Dec 8, 2008
Jake would you compete in this week's WC ? (Forum #112)#8: Jake Griffin (jako7286) on Dec 9, 2008
Jota, if I have time, I will. I've just got finals this week, so we'll see.
