#3: Byrdie (byrdie) on Nov 21, 2008
THANKS! I was very worried that it would be too difficult to solve so it's nice to know, a day later, that someone has!
Thanks again.

Don't you mean "lit from the left?"
#5: Byrdie (byrdie) on Nov 21, 2008
Nope, lit from the right which causes the shadow (blue area) to fall on the left hand side of the image.
Good question, tho.
#6: Arduinna (arduinna) on Nov 22, 2008
Oh, thank goodness! When I saw the title, I was so afraid the pic would be something, er, less than appealing!
#7: Byrdie (byrdie) on Nov 22, 2008
Sorry, just my sick sense of humor, pardon the pun.

Since I tend to think of things from point of view and not the objects point of view (a normal human trait, don't you think), I'll stick with my version. :-p

byrdie, you've been adding a lot of yourself to the forum so we have a chance to get to know you, sooooo I have to ask, Do I get a picture of you to create a puzzle?

*please*
#12: Byrdie (byrdie) on Nov 25, 2008
I'll have to think about that. <smile>

Great puzzle, lot of detail and was nice and challenging to solve!
#19: Byrdie (byrdie) on Jul 17, 2016
Thanks. It took me a long time to solve it and figure out where to change it so it would be more solvable.
#20: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Aug 8, 2016
Very fiddly solve, but an excellent image :)
#21: Julio Parra (Julio Parra) on May 7, 2017
Excelente imagen, y difícil de resolver.

I would have liked to have done this, but when the puzzle is so long that I can't see the top clues as well as the puzzle, it makes for too much screen movement to be fun. I can't make it smaller because my sight is not so good.
#23: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Aug 1, 2020
Did you know that you can move the clues to the bottom of the puzzle, using the down arrow?
#24: Byrdie (byrdie) on Aug 2, 2020
You can also expand to full screen, Neither one of these will make the full image fit your screen when you use "bigger" but they will allow you to see more of the puzzle.

On most computers f11 will expand your browser screen to full screen and the esc key will revert it to normal. I use chrome where you can also right click your mouse and there is an "exit full screen" option.

To expand on what Kristen is saying, you can use the up, down and left, right to shift the clues from side to side on the puzzle. You can also use them to align all the clues to the left, right, top or bottom. I like to use this when I've completed a long string of clues against an edge and want to grey them out.

Hope this helps. BTW, this is a tough puzzle. I created it very early on but it was quite some time before I was truly able to solve it myself.

Thanks, Phillip. It's been some time since I solved it myself and I was much more of a beginner then. I have no memory if I used similar methods or just dumb luck. I should try again some time.
