I lived a year in northern Idaho, and the weather is so severe and the snow so deep that a large chunk of the winter is basically shut-down time. Some of the folks who simply cannot abide the idle time must be making their days count by... just creating.... anything! Do something or go crazy. These puzzles are fascinating.
