Puzzle Description:

Dark Eyed Juncos have been very prevalent in my yard during this snow storm, hanging out under my feeders, cleaning up the seeds that the other birds drop. Black eyes in a black head make for an eyeless portrait!

They're cute little birbs. I had expected to see a close-up raccoon face, but then its eye started to look weird X-D

Where is that? The only birds we get during winter are blue jays!

In the DC metro area, suburbs. Today I've been watching blue jays, cardinals, dark-eyed juncos, house sparrows, white-throated sparrows, song sparrows, house finches, Carolina wrens, white-breasted nuthatches, downy woodpeckers, red-bellied woodpeckers, robins, mourning doves, and sneaky squirrels.

We have them out west too. Great picture and fun solve!

Wow, beautiful image and a zenlike solve! I love birds; different species evoke memories of friends and family passed away. A cardinal is my mom, an owl a recently departed ski buddy, and others.

I just got myself one of those "Bird Buddy" things, which is a birdfeeder with a camera. I haven't set it up yet, but probably will over the next few days when we're predicted to be snowbound AGAIN....
