Very nice. Fun to solve, and a quality picture for its size. Thanks!

This is definitely a serious contender for a contest winner.
#9: Ga Hendrick (GaHendrick) on Nov 13, 2008 [SPOILER]
I too would like hot cocoa - with whipped cream. What a delightful treat. It makes me wish for snow, although that is never going to happen where I live now. <sighs>

A great small puzzle, with nice detail.
#10: Jota (Jota) on Nov 13, 2008
I already saw snow in October !
#11: Jen (LightVader) on Nov 15, 2008 [SPOILER]
Ga has the right idea. I'll have hot cocoa with whipped cream too.

Wonderful image. Made me feel warm all over.
#16: Byrdie (byrdie) on Dec 18, 2008 [HINT]
Funny! As I was solving it I kept seeing a sailing ship ... Cruise - also a short term solution to winter. But I immediately got the correct answer when I finished solving as well. Nicely done puzzle.
#17: Jota (jota) on Dec 18, 2008
Do you need a vacation Byrdie? I don't see the sailing ship.
#18: Byrdie (byrdie) on Dec 18, 2008 [SPOILER]
Yes ... I do. We're supposed to get another inch or two of snow overnight, several more over the weekend, and temps will drop into the single digits beginning of next week.

Cover the steam, or at least the part that's not a straight line like a mast coming out of the top. Also cover the bottom half of the handle so that the top of it looks like a ships prow. Like I said, I was getting that image while I was in the process of solving.
#19: Jota (jota) on Dec 19, 2008
Our high for today is 18, we'll be getting 3 to 5 inches today and more tomorrow, so I can clearly see the sailing boat cruising straight to the caribbean.

#20: Arduinna (arduinna) on Dec 19, 2008
50 here today. 50. No white Christmas in my future!
#21: Jota (jota) on Dec 19, 2008
You better get some icing and spread it outside the windows.
