A good puzzle for edge logic, but personally I don't think edge logic is a beginner's skill. I actually have done a bass clef as part of puzzle #1572.

Thanks for the reminder in #2, K.

when i solved this myself, there seemed to be a way to continue solving, tho it took some thought. i know not necessarily 'beginner' but felt more like the higher end of beginner, because it didn't require any guessing, only some persistence.

and i know the treble clef is the universal symbol for music, but don't forget the rhythm section! :)

nice :)
I too enjoyed the challenge, not that I thought that it was too hard, just took a bit of edge logic...or maybe I just resorted to it too quickly...

I worked this out of curiosoty - to discover what gives you joy. I love music too! And I really enjoy these small puzzles. This one was challenging and rewarding. Thanks.

Hey Byrdie, I dated the whole tuba section in high school!
#12: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 18, 2008
Wow, you got around! :-)
#13: Arduinna (arduinna) on Dec 18, 2008
Well, there were only 2 of them-- small school!
#14: Byrdie (byrdie) on Dec 18, 2008
I *KNEW I went to the wrong school. I did date a piccolo player (my first girlfriend) and a flautist (my second girlfriend) and that only if you can count holding hands in the bus to away games and an occasional kiss.
#15: Arduinna (arduinna) on Dec 18, 2008
I played the flute! And the piccolo one semester! No kidding!
#16: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 18, 2008
I didn't know that someone who played the flute is called a flautist and not a "flutist." Why is that? Anyone know?
#17: Byrdie (byrdie) on Dec 18, 2008
Actually, Adam, both are correct but only one is proper. lol

Arduinna, you're beginning to scare me ... in a nice way.
#18: Arduinna (arduinna) on Dec 19, 2008
I'm pretty frightening. ;)
