Jean, this is a rather difficult puzzle for newbies. When I first came here, I started out with the easier puzzles. Go to the "Find Puzzles" link on the left. Then click on the "Best Puzzles" tab. You can do beginner and easy puzzles until you get the hang of it. If you are not quite sure, you can find some help in the "FAQ" on the left.
