#10: Jota (Jota) on Nov 3, 2008 [SPOILER]
This could be an ART experiment ... I had a zebra in my head when I was creating the puzzle, so that's what I saw when I finished it. Now I see a zebra, #1, #2, #3, #4, #7, #8 and Monkeyboy laughing. Is art what the artist created or what people see ? May be this could be a contest and at the end the majority will decide what this really is (Kind of like the presidential elections).
#11: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Nov 3, 2008
ROFL!!! You are so funny, Jota. Yes, I think art is what people see.
#12: Merili (merilinnuke) on Nov 4, 2008 [SPOILER]
I see the behind of a bowing person wearing shorts (with 2 back pockets) and striped long stockings. Looks a bit like Pippi :)
#13: Jota (Jota) on Nov 4, 2008
Wow! I see that too!
#14: Erica Keith (ekeith) on Nov 4, 2008
I think it looks like King Tut. But I get the zebra thing too.
#15: Ga Hendrick (GaHendrick) on Nov 6, 2008
I thought it was a tribal mask, with eyes peering out. As to art, that is an ongoing historical debate. Especially for modern art. I'll let the artist decide. It certainly is appealing and was a fun puzzle to do.

Thanks.
#16: Jota (Jota) on Nov 6, 2008
Thank YOU!
#17: Corey Beaudoin (red) on Nov 6, 2008

#18: Jennifer Jones (geekess) on Nov 7, 2008

#19: jack thorn (ravenskuld) on Nov 8, 2008

#24: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Nov 8, 2008

#25: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Nov 8, 2008

my sister used to do that and it would freak my parents out cuz she would pass out. she was about 2 years old. At least that's what I'm told...she's older that I am...
#27: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Nov 8, 2008
my daughter used to hit head against the floor until we went to my sisters house (she had a concrete foundation)
you should have seen the look on her face after hitting her head against the hard floor..It cured her from that!
#28: Jane Doe (telly) on Nov 10, 2008

#33: Jota (jota) on Jan 14, 2010
Cool John, I like what you saw!

#41: Ben Fong (darkman) on Jun 6, 2022 [SPOILER]
Anteater with bandages on its face
#42: Jota (jota) on Jun 7, 2022
You have a point Ben!
#43: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Jun 7, 2022
sticking to kristen's interpretation!
#44: Bill Eisenmann (Bullet) on Jun 7, 2022
If you include the greyed columns of numbers atop the grid, I see an intricately machined screw. The slot is above the center columns. (It helps if you squint.) It's designed to countersink into a very particularly-shaped, [uh, what do you call the tapered dimple in the wood so the countersunk screw lies flush?] and the threads tapering down to the self-drilling tip.

Anybody see this?
#45: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jun 7, 2022
Bill: The tapered dimple is the countersink (because it is sunk into the material).
#46: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Jun 8, 2022
sticking to kristen's interpretation! ;)
#47: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 8, 2022
It was Merili's interpretation, first! :)
#48: Koreen (mom24plus) on Jun 8, 2022 [SPOILER]
Until the last pixel was done, I saw a cow. Now I see a curious deer, looking through a window into the house. If he has antlers, they're above the window.
#49: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 9, 2022
I like it!
#50: Jota (jota) on Jun 9, 2022
