Bee, Eye, Jay, Queue

Hope you aren't sick of these yet. I'm having a good time with them.

The opposite. Of sick, I mean. Please, please keep them coming. The solves have been so satisfying and the puzzles in puzzles are terrific. For this one I got three so I knew they must all be letters, but I had to run through the alphabet to name the queue before looking at your spoiler. Such fun!

What is the connection here?

Fun! I thought the bee was going to B something else, so now I'm compelled to make a new puzzle!

I was thinking the connection had to do with straight lines:
"make a B-line," "line of sight," thought the bird might have been a crow (but now I see the tuft on the top of the head), "as the crow flies," and a line of people.

That kind of works too.
