Puzzle Description:

Snow in October, which i am experiencing, in fact. [No fun in Ohio!]

#1: Mavis (Lilpudn) on Oct 29, 2008 [SPOILER]

Nice snowflake, even has 6 points. We had it a couple days ago here in Minnesota but now it's sunny and beautiful.

great picture! I live in Raleigh, NC so we don't see much snow (and even when we do, it's closer to ice)

Very good job on the snowflake. We had a few flurries here in Michigan, but I use my sister's weather in Anchorage, Alaska for comparison and always end up feeling grateful for living here. Yesterday she e-mailed me an update: low of -19, high of -3, daybreak at 9:30 am, sunset at 5:30 pm. Yikes!

Thank you for the puzzle. Please do another.

I love it ! And I do find it scarrrrry !

i know it wasn't really a Halloween image, but i went with the scary notion. it's been since the 60's since it's snowed here this early in the fall. and if you've ever seen Ohioans drive - now THAT'S scary! *laugh*

scary notion is exactly what you were to go with..it would scare me too :)
#10: Beth (Shasta) on Oct 30, 2008
Before last winter I would not have understood how a snowflake could be scary. One by itself is not so scary but where there is one there could be billions....day after day after day...

exactly. I enjoy the occasional snow flurries, but blizzard conditions are no fun at all. Down right scary, in fact, if you're driving.
nice job on the puzzle!

I feel right at home with this discussion. I also have snow and cold and don't like it. I grew up in Minnesota and know exactly what the weather there is like. I have also lived in NC and know about the ice. My sisters have lived in Alaska and my current home is much like Alaska but on the other side of the globe (though still in the north).

Denmark is not that cold we have english weath in the summer=rain and not much snow till january and then it mostly does not stay on the ground for more than a couple of minutes.
#23: Jota (Jota) on Nov 3, 2008
