Why do people make puzzles so much bigger than the solution. It is so annoying having to fill in so many blank squares that don't need to be there in the first place.#2: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Sep 29, 2024
Rob - This doesn't fully answer your question, but, in case it's useful: If you leave the blank squares blank and click on "Save" and the rest of the puzzle is completed, the software will automatically fill in all of the dotted squares that are still blank.#3: Mathew (keiimaster) on Sep 29, 2024 [SPOILER]

Also, using the H and V keys to fill those horizontal and vertical lines quickly is a big help. Just hold the key down and sweep across :)#5: Bill Eisenmann (Bullet) on Sep 30, 2024
And sometimes a lot of white space around the image can frame or define it in certain ways#6: Joanne Firla (JoFirla) on Oct 1, 2024
I use the H and V keys all the time. Makes it easier to fill in the blank spots.#7: Gary Webster (glwebste) on Oct 2, 2024
Didn't know about the H and V thing. I'll try it!#8: Yonah Kondor (yokon965) on Oct 4, 2024
Just don't hit one when you meant to hit the other. (Speaking from lots of experience undoing those mistakes.)#9: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Oct 4, 2024
That's when it's auto-clicker-on-top-of-the-Undo-button time :)#10: Yonah Kondor (yokon965) on Oct 4, 2024
Brings back muscle memories of calculator-racing in school.#11: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Oct 4, 2024
You can also use the keyboard shortcut key Z for undo. That auto-repeats, so you can lean on Z to undo a lot of moves. You can also use R for Redo, and you can lean on R to redo a lot of moves quickly.#12: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Oct 4, 2024
Yonah: What is calculator-racing?
But my auto-clicker is usually set for a click every 7 milliseconds. Speedy undo!#13: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Oct 5, 2024
Hm. What is your auto-clicker? I wanted one very much for playing Insaniquarium (a fish-growing game that is long gone now, sigh....) but never got as far as looking up whether such a thing exists. Evidently it does!#14: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Oct 6, 2024
I just use OP Auto Clicker 3.0. It's not as robust as some others but I don't need it to do much :)#15: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Oct 7, 2024
