This one was hard for me.

Tricky! It sure looks like the gadget.

No initial LL available.

R20: EL marks C1-7 white.
R19: EL marks C1-7 white.
R18: EL marks C1-7 white.

C20: EL marks R1-7 white.
C19: EL marks R1-7 white.
C18: EL marks R1-7 white. Finally some LL to 13%.

I can make an educated guess where the 5s in R20 and C20 need to go but right now I'm not seeing a way to narrow those down any farther logically.

Good one!

Before I finished the wheel it looked more like something you would cook rather than cook with. (I atarted with a lucky guess)

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by dbouldin.

Sorry, didn't track my solve but definitely moderate at most. I might revisit and track if needed?

Solved with logic but it was definitely brain-bending in some spots. I think we need better definition around the differences between moderate and deep lookahead; the advanced logic in this seemed way tougher than what's in puzzles typically marked as moderate (though it's possible I may have just missed some easier moves).

I found the same things that Wombi found, and I too am stuck at 13%.

Wombatilim, what do you prefer to be called?

Valerie: Either Wombat or Batti are my preferred, but I'm not too fussed about other ways to shorten my name.

That was more difficult than I remember and I don't think I took the same path, so I probably had a lucky mistake in my first solve. Not sure all of these are necessary, it's just what I did this time. Picks up where Wombat left off and tried to mimic the syntax so it flows naturally for people trying to follow :)

R1: EL marks C16-17 white.
R2: EL marks C16-17 white.
R3: EL marks C16-17 white.
R4: EL marks C16-17 white.
R3: C5 or C10 must be black. Either way marks C15R4 white.
R5: EL marks C16 white.
R2: C3 or C12 must be black. Either way marks C12R3 white.
R1: EL marks C9-11 white (look at R7 for a quick contradiction)
R8: IEL marks C4 white (look at R2 for a quick contradiction)

LL to the end.

This step here:

I'm not actually seeing a R7 contradiction here but I *do* see one in R4 in 2 steps. I wouldn't really call this edge logic for that reason but the conclusion is correct.

This one:
"R8: IEL marks C4 white (look at R2 for a quick contradiction)"

I'm not seeing the contradiction here. I *can* eliminate C1-3 with a quick R3 contradiction, just not C4.

It looks like I can get a similar result with a different approach, though:
R2: If the 5 is placed within C9-16, it will complete the 6 in R3, and there won't be enough room for the 3 in R1.
