Puzzle Description:

Flee (flea)

#1: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Jan 19, 2022 [SPOILER]

I enjoyed the solve and the image, but am having a little trouble applying the name of the series to it. Is that single spot the flea? What is the design on the body supposed to be?

That is a dog scratching and a flea fleeing.

I'm no ecologist, but it does seem like fleas are an animal we could do without.

from the interwebs: Fleas, despite being pests, play roles in ecosystems as a protein source for predators (birds, lizards, spiders), by aiding in decomposition (larvae eat organic matter), and potentially influencing host animal populations through disease transmission, contributing to natural population control, and acting as a link in the food web, turning host blood into energy for other creatures like ants and beetles.
