I never understand spoonerisms. It was a fun solve with no gue.ssing

Black Cat: A spoonerism is where the first letters of each word are swapped. So swapping the "C" and "N" from "Nooks and Crannies" gives you "Crooks and Nannies," which is what Brian illustrated here.

This one made me grin. Joanne, I love your response. And Black Cat, spoonerisms are usually not intentional. Some of us just let our mouths get ahead of our brains, or our brains go so fast our mouths can't keep up, lol. (Yes, I'm guilty.)

My son Arlo likes to take the first letter of one word and combine it with the rest of the second word to see what he gets. So "nooks and crannies" would become "nannies."

Gracioso puzzle.

I thought I'd seen everything in this series! I must have gotten through everything then been away for a month or so.

Whichever, I enjoyed this very much, the solve, the caption and the image.
