Knew from the title before starting that it would be peeps or ears, with peeps being more likely, especially seeing that the colored section has lotsa 5s 6s 7s so it was fortunately NOT a pile of jelly beans :)
(and before anyone starts thinking that "pile of jelly beans" sounds like a terrific idea for a puzzle... trust me, it is not.)
