Puzzle Description:

Amos & Andy

Amos who?
Amosquito bit me

Andy who?
Andy bit me again!

I tried to make this a BW 20x, but all the spindly legs were problematic, so I added some red for solvability. The spindly legs are still tricky, but less so.

Without the red, would have been impossible. Still, LOTS of guessing.

It's a rather abstract mosquito, which isn't a bad thing.

Good knock-knock.

I thought about doing one for this joke, but I can't draw recognizable people so I didn't even try. Good idea to draw the punchline instead of the "noun"

That notion perhaps frees me up to do some others where the person at the door is a person's name (who I cannot draw, though I could probably pull off the punchline)

I like the eyes on your drawing, Kristen! buggy, but cute :)

I managed to solve without guessing but it involved looking ahead far enough that it almost might as well have been - notably on the bottom left.

Not a knock-knock joke, but as I was solving this it reminded me of an old joke I remember from childhood: What's black and white and read (or red) all over? A newspaper (or a skunk in a blender).
#6: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Feb 24, 2021 [HINT]
The solver claims "line & color logic only", but I had to use a good bit of 2-way lookahead in the lower left.

Michael, or a zebra with a sunburn (though Newspaper is the traditional answer)
#8: Gator (gator) on Feb 24, 2021 [HINT]
This one is line logic solvable. It has some really fun forced dots in a few places. I'm going to point some of them out.

Fantastic puzzle Kristen!
#9: Gator (gator) on Feb 24, 2021 [HINT]
After the line/color logic and all of the top half is solved, you will have most of the bottom area to finish.

Looking at R15, noticed how both R15C8 and R15C14 both have to be dots. If you try to make either black, it will cause line 15 to be invalid.

On R17, look at R17C15. If you would make this black, then it will cause R17 to be invalid. So it must be a dot.

LL to finish.

Thanks!

I liked it all! I'm a sucker for mosquito jokes. Heh....
#12: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Feb 28, 2021 [HINT]
Line and color here too. Think it's funny that Kristen did this one considering my puzzle (and title) for #16750 :D

Can concur on those legs!

Fun puzzle. Thanks Kristen
