Don't see glider, but I see a person hunched over their controller.

Lots of Game of Life puzzles around here. Some interesting comment sections on a few of them. Don't have the numbers though.

Don't see it.

BlackCat - I don't know if you come back to old comments, but just in case:

If it's from The Game of Life: That was a computer simulation that was popular in maybe the 1980s. You start with a grid, with some squares marked, and then there are rules to decide which squares will be marked in the next round, based on which squares are marked in the current round. A glider would be a collection of squares that uses the rules to sail across the screen.

OMG I loved playing with that game... Never read the rule book, never really accomplished anything, but enjoyed drawing swarms of "gliders" and whatever-else's just to see entropy unfold when I hit 'play'! Reading your summary Valerie makes me want to revisit and actually try to accomplish something intentionally this time.

Oh cool! I've never tried one that you could play with like that, and I got kind of mesmerized. Yonah, that is really neat!

I played around making logic components with it years ago.
And, Or, Not gates and the like, plus timers and trace crossers

Ugh, that was actually decades ago.
