Puzzle Description:

UGH I HAVE NO IDEAS SO ANNOYING

#1: Gator (gator) on Oct 16, 2020 [HINT]

I can assume from the clues/symmetry what this puzzle will look like. But I cannot find a good way to logically tackle this one. I will try to come back to it later.

Tackle the 12 rows first by symmetry then the rest falls in place.
#3: Donald Clysdale (don) on Oct 17, 2020
Any insight from anyone for when using symmetry is valid to logically solve a puzzle? To me it is just a rationale for a reasonable guess.
#4: Gator (gator) on Oct 18, 2020
I don't consider symmetry a valid technique to logically solve a puzzle. I agree that it is in the realm of guessing.

Come on puzzlers, guessing is a logical mental skill. And I had fun guessing the 323 corners. "Which pattern equals the correct count?"

Do you call it guessing or look ahead when you are almost positive where the line goes?
#7: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Oct 23, 2020
guess it depends blackcat...were you positive based on a logical step or positive based on a guess you knew how the picture was going to turn out?
#8: Belita (belita) on Oct 27, 2020 [HINT]
Symmetry is only a sure thing if it's completely symmetrical and you know there is only one solution. This puzzle is solvable by inference. Most puzzles of this sort are basically symmetrical, so we infer that this one probably is too. It's not a sure thing, but it's more logical than a guess.

Found to require some guessing by gator.
