Wow - what an awesome picture! It was a bit of a surprize, not your typical tourist trap, but who wouldn't want to visit there? Thank you - >^..^<

Great imagination Telly. I'd like to go too.
Excellent puzzle. Terrific image and nice challenge.
I solved it completely by logic alone, btw.

Thanks Telly and good luck! :-)

Thanks. I'm totally happy with second place. Marz's puzzle was awesome! She deserved it! :) I'm honored to be second.

Wonderful image and story. I found it a very challenging puzzle even after I figured out what it was. The shadows are superb!

thanks Agnes. :)
#17: Byrdie (byrdie) on Jun 26, 2009 [HINT]
Makes me think of M TV. Awesome puzzle and a real challange to solve at my skill level. No guessing involved near as I can tell, but more than a few moments staring blankly at the screen.

I marked the difficulty fairly high but have to admit that may be biased by my skill level.

Thanks for a great puzzle. Awesome image.

thanks Martin! I've been reading your comments for a while now and value your opinion...I agree with you quite often.
#19: Wombat (wombatilim) on Mar 11, 2010 [HINT]
After solving line & color logic, there will be a bit on the right that is still unsolved. Some step-ahead will get you these last few patches. Specifically, there is only one block that can fit both of the missing sections of R27 & R28 at the same time. Once those are in, the rest solves with line logic.

I'm amazed that this puzzle has been here this long with several comments that it was solved by logic alone, but no one had actually posted this hint yet.
#20: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Mar 15, 2010
Wombat, back in the day, there were rarely hints given on how to solve a puzzle. The true hints with specific clues on how to solve puzzles has really been used only relatively recently.

Just saw season 6 opening of Doctor Who and I thought it was a tribute until I read your notes. Love it, either way!!!

Thanks. :)
#23: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jun 10, 2013 [HINT]
After initial LL/CL, all the blue will be placed, and there will be seven rows plus some on the bottom to be solved, as well as some patches on the right.

Edge logic on the 15 in r45 will let us dot everything left of c17 (or there'd be a conflict in r44). Then LL finishes the bottom.

Then EL on the 4 in r24 makes c32-35 white (or a conflict in r25).

Then LL finishes it.

(The two hints above can be done in either order; neither requires the other to be done first.)

thanks.
#27: Luis Cavazos (luishifto) on Apr 16, 2019
It is solvable using line and color logic, edge logic and smile logic.
#28: Velma Warren (Shiro) on May 19, 2019 [HINT]
A truly beautiful image and lovely story. I did have to guess at the end to get the shadows.
