Puzzle Description:

I just finished reading Refugee by Alan Gratz. It follows three families of different generations: one on the St. Louis from Nazi Germany, one on a cobbled together boat from Cuba, and one from Syria crossing the Mediterranean Sea on a rubber raft that capsized. It makes you appreciate what we take for granted.

Great image and fun to solve. I don't usually do puzzles this large, but this was worth it. Will check out the book.

So pretty and so sad!

Well done. I remember heart wrenching stories of people's attempts to escape the Berlin wall.

I know of another book about someone tunneling under the wall to join his family when they were separated. The father was stuck in East Berlin and his whole family was in the west. It amazing how many atrocities people can inflict on others.
