nice. It took lots of time and a few "lucky" guesses, but I got him!
So cute! Good job.

I was able to do it without guessing, and am officially declaring it "solvable by logic alone". However, I readily admit it is danged hard. I used variations of the two-way logic trick described in the advanced puzzle notes several times, and even a simple four-way logic case. At one point, I got pretty stuck and started wondering if the thing was going to be solvable, so I saved and clicked the "helper" button (a cheat available only to me, the puzzle author, and people who have solved the puzzle before) and it solved the rest of the puzzle, which meant I was missing something really simple. I reverted, looked harder, and solved the rest.

The fouri-way logic trick happened at a point where I had all of the top row filled in, had located everything except one "1" in the second row, and all but one "1" in the third row. There were four places the "1" in the second row could be, but I noticed that all of them had their first column clue bigger than one. That meant that the one in the third row had to be directly under the one in the first row. So I was able to dot every blank in the third row except for the four columns that could contain the one in the second row. I don't know if that was actually necessary to solve the puzzle, but it helped me a lot.

I agree with no-guessing but it was a tough one to get..:)

Wow! That was tough. But I couldn't give up on it. And in the end the final picture was well worth it. Nice Job.

Hi Tom

We've grown a lot as solvers, No guessing at all! Thanks!

I've been working this one on and off for days. And the end result was completely worth it, as the logic fell into place and the image came together. Great puzzle. =)

After the initial line solving, I used edge logic on row 2 to determined that the 2 clue could not go in columns 7-11 (we can't dot them though because the 1 clue could go here). So the 2 clue had to be in columns 13-14.

I then did what Jan did to dot out most of row 3 with line logic to finish.

Great puzzle!

This one took me awhile too. I had to clear the board and start over a few times, but I finally got it! Fun solve! Thanks :)

this is freaking incredible. i. love. it.

found to be solvable by logic alone. nice and interesting
#14: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Aug 14, 2017
Great solve. Neat image.

I agree it is solveable with logic. I really like the resulting image which I couldn’t see until I was almost complete. I also liked the way you had to work the whole puzzel to resolve it. Very good. Thanks
