Puzzle Description:

Coronavirus 19

#1: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Jul 9, 2020

I was just thinking of creating such a puzzle, and now I don't have to. Good job.

"Coronavirus 19" you say? Never heard of it...
#3: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jul 10, 2020 [SPOILER]
SARS-CoV-2 is the name of the virus. Covid-19 is the name of the disease it causes. Coronavirus is the family of virus that it is among.

I'm doing what I can to avoid it! The world has changed.

David and Joe - I stand corrected on the nomenclature.
But I stand firm that it is to be avoided. Both the virus and the disease.
#7: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jul 11, 2020
I just had a flare-up of aspergers and felt the need to pass on information.

Joe - there is beauty in precision. there is beauty in the image of the virus, too. But I sure wish it would go away.
My daughter had a mild reaction to it. I'm trying my best to avoid it, as I don't want to find out what my reaction would be.

I'm not getting any younger, my wife has a pre-existing condition, and my son-in-law has no immune system, so I'm hoping we all avoid it, too.

Mine wasn't a comment about the nomenclature, I was just trying to be silly pretending I hadn't heard of the disease/virus at all. Perhaps mine should have just read "Coronavirus? Never heard of it..." :P

David - I sure wish I had never heard of it. I'm tired of staying home. And ashamed of being tired of staying home. I'm very lucky to have a nice home and to be able to have things delivered and to stay well. But nonetheless, I sure wish life were different these days.

My life hasn't really changed all that much. I have been a stay at home person for quite some time. The biggest change is in ordering online and the frustrations that brings. I used to have few substitutions and hardly ever any out of stock. But now there is plenty of both.

Norma - with me, it's the lack of face-to-face discussions. I'm lucky in that I have a daughter who lives not too far away and a group of friends who also like to quilt. We meet weekly in the front yard of one of the ladies Lots of shade. We bring our own chairs and sit apart from each other. But the interaction is priceless.

Good puzzle! Sadly still relevant -- but far less critical.

I don't need to go otut a ton but I remember just not being able to, period, weighed down on me.

It took this sucker over three and a half years to find me, but it got me eventually 2 months ago.
#17: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Dec 27, 2023
Oh man that stinks! I'm not going to say whether it's gotten me yet because I don't want to tempt fate!
