I also thought, as I was creating this one, that people might think it was a football, but then I remembered that footballs have straight threads, not angled ones like a baseball. Otherwise, no way to tell the difference in this image up close.

Any baseball fan should have recognized it, even this old often diappointed Ranger fan.

I'm afraid I'm not a sports fan so I was thinking it was the edge of an oak leaf.

I can totally see that.

First I thought baseball, then I thought leaf, then I thought pad of a thumb with a cut and stitches (or top of a bald head with stitches... ouch!). I thought, "Adam is American, I believe, so it *has* to be a baseball." ;-)

I thought gears at first -I started with upper right side, then wondered about football but the edge was wrong, so settled on a leaf. Oh well.

Way late to the party. I thought it was the fig leaves on a coin of some sort.
