A horse's mouth/nose. He is licking his lips.
#2: Sylvain "WCPman" (qwerty) on Sep 1, 2008

#3: Jennifer Jones (geekess) on Sep 1, 2008 [SPOILER]
Hmmm was thinking cat lapping up milk...but I can see the horse too.
#4: Linda Lee Martin (dogmom) on Sep 1, 2008
or maybe a camel's mouth....great fun
#5: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Sep 1, 2008
Thanks! Nice to hear from you, Linda... I believe this is the first comment I have ever seen you make in the last year, especially on one of my puzzles! I am so excited for you to pass me back up in puzzles solved. :-)
#6: Jan Young (haidapup) on Sep 1, 2008
I have to say I got that one right. A very cute horses mouth.
#7: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Sep 2, 2008
Thanks!
#8: Jane Doe (telly) on Sep 2, 2008
I got it too! Another good one.
#9: Rea Aksglæde Karlsen (Rea) on Sep 4, 2008 [SPOILER]
looks more like a goat to me... but that just because they are more likely to be white i think
#10: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Sep 4, 2008
Ok. Thanks for the comment.
#11: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Sep 4, 2008 [SPOILER]
I thought it was a dog licking with his tongue
so I guess I was kinda close :)
#12: Gypso (Gypso) on Sep 7, 2008
I'm 0 for, well I can't remember how many I've solved because I'm doing them out of order. But, now I can see it!
I love this series Adam. I think that they are very clever.
Keep them coming please. :-)
#13: Jota (Jota) on Sep 8, 2008
Zorro looking down and with an upward mustache! What can I tell you?
#14: Gypso (Gypso) on Sep 8, 2008
Lol Jota! Creative of you! :-D
#15: Mara Alconea (alconea) on Feb 10, 2009
I got it!! It's putt-putt golf. These are soooooooooooo much fun.:D
#16: Cro-Magnon (Hermit) on Dec 13, 2009 [SPOILER]
It was a toss-up, for me, between a horse's nose, or a lizard head (with the nostril being a big eye). I settled on hayburner snout. :-)
1 for 2.

I also thought it was interesting that I had to use edge logic to get it started; I don't recall having to do that very often. Not with the smaller puzzles anyway (which is what I usually solve).

Nice puzzle!

Thank you.
#18: Diana W (aeris) on Mar 29, 2010 [HINT] [SPOILER]
I'm doing the close-ups in order, and I've been able to see them so far (which isn't saying much, seeing as this is only the second). This one I wasn't sure about, but I decided horse's mouth was most likely. Is animal mouths going to be a theme? Do you have some abnormal fear of being bitten? :) I really liked that it was tricky to get it started, with the edge logic.
#19: Kyle Furtner (chiprak3r) on May 22, 2010
Adam, you're kind of a fag
#20: Jane Doe (telly) on May 24, 2010
?
#21: Jota (jota) on May 25, 2010
Sometimes things fall out of the blue ... could it have been a bird passing by ?
#22: karl (keicher) on Jul 20, 2011
nope
#23: Edith Clark (eclark) on Nov 6, 2011
I was wondering if there was a place to start other than edge logic. Since I see a comment or to about that, I assume not. Nice puzzle.
#24: Bryan (Cyclone) on Jan 5, 2014 [SPOILER]
Thought it was another dog, this time about to lick someone's face!
#25: CB Paul (cbpaul) on Nov 17, 2017 [SPOILER]
OMG! I got it! I took my glasses off to minimize the literal view, and saw a horse's nose! Cool!
#26: Ailsa Hebert (bazette3) on Feb 4, 2019
Really enjoyed solving your puzzle....thanks!
#27: Byrdie (byrdie) on Feb 3, 2024
This was a little tricky to get started but once I found that it flowed pretty nicely. Nice challenge. Figured out the image on my own.
