"Tiger roaring".

Est-ce que vous parlez francais, Michel? J'aime beaucoup la langue. Bien sur, j'apprend encore.

(For those who are not familiar with French):
"Do you speak French, Michel? I really love the language. Of course, I'm still learning."

I so enjoyed this terrific solve and the picture with wonderful detail, especially considering the relatively small size. Bravo, Michel!

If you go to Users you will discover that Michel Plourde has solved more than 30,000 puzzles which is more than anyone else. But he has created only one. Which is terrific. What took you so long Michel and will we see more?

Another great puzzle. Thanks for posting so we know a little about you. I am Canadian too, living on Vancouver Island. And thank you for your puzzles, especially the difficult ones.

I don't recall solving a puzzle in the manner I did this one. After line logic got me so far and no more, I began at the right edge. Edge logic usually means finding the correct slot to place a long string, then sweeping towards the center until I run out of momentum. This time I found eventually where to put the rightmost column's bands by moving into the columns to the left, second, third, fourth, and even further. The short bands, rarely exceeding three pixels, allowed me to determine dots which then enabled me to move back and forth in a manner that I've never really used to solve a puzzle. The result is a puzzle with a unique and satisfying approach, and a terrific final image.
