Aha, that's a tail! :)#2: besmirched tea (Besmirched Tea) on Feb 12, 2020 [SPOILER]
I thought it was a fly's face for so long...#3: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Feb 12, 2020 [SPOILER]
I was thinking the tail was a flower!#4: Kathy Roth (clyde) on Feb 12, 2020
Nice!#5: Lollipop (lollipop) on Feb 12, 2020
Very pleasing, and fun to solve. Thanks.#6: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Feb 12, 2020 [SPOILER]
Beautiful, once it comes into focus. Before I knew it was a bird, I had trouble understanding what I was looking at. It's got a nice, fanned out tail. 😊#7: Andrew Schultz (blurglecruncheon) on Feb 13, 2020 [HINT]
A nice solve and image.#8: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Feb 17, 2020 [HINT]
I think we need edge logic at the end. I had c19-29(r7-10 /r12-15) and c15-6 (r17-20) and c16 r9-10 left. You seem to need to use edge logic on the 4 in column 20. If it is in r12-15, then you have 2's across. So it has to be in the upper. Things fall out from there. If I missed anything, let me know.
After LL/CL leaves only some green in the middle right,#9: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Feb 17, 2020
Andrew's method works.
You could also use edge logic on the 3 in r15 - there's only one place it could go without immediate conflict.
LL to finish

I like being fooled - and I thought it was a lovely thistle. Thanks.
