"Persepolis" is an fantastic film - if you haven't seen it yet, you definitely should. Marjane, a girl growing up in post-revolutionary Iran, is a big fan of rock music. "Eye of the Tiger" plays an important part in one scene. P.S. Thanks for the challenge!

Really nice picture. I've never seen this movie, but, it sounds interesting.

The movie is animated, based on a graphic novel, based on the author's own life, and it's the kind of thing that makes you want to jump up and down and cheer for her at various points in the story. Marjane kicks ass. I'm glad you enjoyed my picture!

You had me fooled- I was expecting "Daniel-san" from "The Karate Kid"! Especially with the red; as you might recall, Daniel wore a headband with red and white.

That was a great movie! The part where she sings this song is hilarious. I've only read parts of the book, but I'd like to get my hands on it as well.

I wondered why this didn't look at all like Rocky Balboa. ^_^
