Inspired by Jota's puzzle #3402

To see all of my afterimage puzzles, you can search for userid "Kristen" and title keyword "yellow"

Awesome!

It took me a couple of tries to get this to work, but then it did! Cool! I missed all the previous afterimage puzzles, so this is the first one I've seen. Neato!!

Oh I'm so bummed. It didn't work for me because my retina is completely scarred in one eye and really messed up in my "good" eye with blind spots. I also have lots of distortion in my good eye, which probably didn't help. It's a wonder I can solve any of these puzzles at all. Well, I'm just glad I still can. *sigh*

I couldn't see it either, though to be fair, I have Mr Magoo vision.

Teresa, you could always grab some colored pencils (or pens), and fill in the white stripes with yellow, and a pale cyan border along the left edge, to give it some definition.

Valerie, some are straight afterimages, and a few are overlapping like this one, to add yellow or sky blue to a scene.

Haha! I knew it was going to be one of these. I was able to see it the first time. Good job.

Teresa, my heart goes out to you. My mom is losing her vision, too. It's very distressing for her.

Does this only work with binocular vision? Sadly I do not have that capability.

You have to have an undamaged retina, that can generate an afterimage. It should work just as well using one eye.

Got it, thanks. It kinda made the face yellowish. I had to close one eye because the double vision (normal for me) made it confusing.
