Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by valerie.

When I got stuck, I saved what I had done so far, then tried repeatedly placing column 19's 2 in various places and solving the puzzle forward until it didn't work, then reverting to my saved version. There was only one spot where it did work.

Is that considered a legitimate way to solve a puzzle? I'm sure there is a more elegant way to figure out the logic than the way I did it. :-S

IDK Brian. Looks like roadkill. 23 hours might not cut it.

Valerie: you can use 2-way logic, to see that the vertical and horizontal clues match up in the upper right corner, to create a zigzaggy line. (2 1 2 1 2) matches up with (3 3), for instance.

That zigzaggy line could come from either the top right corner or the bottom right corner, so 50/50 shot there

I have often wondered why a cat in the same room, same temperature will sometimes look "melted" like the cat in this puzzle, and then other times will be curled up in a tight ball.

Thanks Kristen!

Because, Norma, cats can drive us nuts even in their sleep!
#9: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Dec 16, 2019
You better believe it Bill. Just last night, my cat, who is quite heavy, moved to where my feet belong when I got up in the middle of the night. He was sound asleep when I returned and refused to budge when I tried to get back in bed.

After initial LL, edge logic on R4. R17-19 are dots, otherwise it makes R3 invalid. LL to finish.

Nice puzzle!
