Puzzle Description:

Q: What do you call a society of proud and pompous potted plants.

Funny. Good image. Not an easy solve. You're new to the site, Tazzy? I really like your puzzles!
#2: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 8, 2019
Fantastic puzzle, Taz!
#3: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Oct 8, 2019 [SPOILER]
Tazzy said s/he was here several years ago, under a different name.

I was sure this was going to be a play on "haute couture," not "horticulture." :)

clever!

the three flowers on the left remind me of the ones in the window of peewee's playhouse :)

Thank you!
I'm not new to this site Bill, I've created many puzzles on here previously under a different name. It has been around 7 years since I was last on here, and I lost my old password, so I am just seeing if it is something I want to get back into, and so far so good. I love creating puzzles, I just sometimes run out of good ideas for new puzzles, and I rather create than solve.

Last night I went and re-read some of the comments from my older puzzles, it bought back lots of fond memories, and there was some really funny content, it was like coming back home after a long time, and I am so happy to see there are still a lot of my old pbn friends still here today (Kristen and Teresa to name a few x), very happy that one is not here, I hope ;) and sad that some are not here anymore.
I do love webpbn!
I wonder if anyone can guess my identity?

Even before I read this, I thought you might be a returning puzzler, Taz. I'd have to do a little research, but will throw out an initial guess. Because of the name you have chosen for your second incarnation, I've been wondering...might you be Wombat?

I just checked...Wombat has created lots of puzzles later than seven years ago...so Wombat you're not.

Hey, Taz. I think I know who you are. Do you want to remain anonymous? Or can I guess? The "bug" is no longer around. In fact, Valerie found an obituary that coincides with the time of his mysterious disappearance from webpbn.

So, I'm pretty sure I know who you are, and I just want to say, WELCOME BACK!!!!!!! You are one of my favorite creators of all time, and I'm glad you still have your artistic abilities to share your fantastic puzzles with us.

Iv'e been on and off this site since 2009, have created almost 400 puzzles, solved over 2000, live in Australia, but recently moved from NSW to Tasmania, well 2 years ago now.
I think Teresa knows who I am, and Thank you T, it's great to be back here. I am ready to come out and say who I am, I may see if I can change my name on this account.
And Teresa, I didn't want him that gone, wow!!!

And the answer to the riddle is?

Your puzzles are fun to solve. Welcome back.
#10: Marie-Louise Ambrey (Tazzy) on Oct 11, 2019
Thank you Nancy :)
The answer is the title, it’s a backwards riddle.
#11: Aldege Cholette (rogue) on Oct 11, 2019
All I know Marie-Louise is that I always enjoyed your puzzles and I'm confident that you enjoyed mine, and I am as happy that you have returned to webpbn as I am happy that I have returned. I also did not want Bug to be that gone, and I don't know what the status is of my good friend Sensei, but I pray that he is well. Welcome back Taz.

Oh my! I've always loved your puzzles as well, Marie-Louise...welcome back!

It tickles me that you live in Tasmania. One of our twins spent a year in Australia...just because she loves your country. Her twin sister spent a semester studying in New Zealand so when Elise went to visit Valerie, she also spent a little time in Australia and enjoyed everything (especially the people) so much she had to go back.

She's now 30, so the program through which she was allowed to live and work there for a year is no longer available to her. She modeled, did a commercial, house-sat, cat sat (she loves cats) and worked at the Sydney opera house in between jaunts all over Australia, although she never did make it to Tasmania. It's one of her biggest regrets. She had it all planned, but the Aussie friend she was to go with became sick and they had to cancel.

Tricky but fun little puzzle. Going to the users page I found only one person that matches the numbers you quoted. Will be interesting to see if it's you.

Marz! It's nice to meet you. I've solved some of your puzzles, so yes, I remember you, too. You were always good at it, so I would love to see more from you.
#15: Marie-Louise Ambrey (Tazzy) on Oct 12, 2019
It's so lovely here, don't know why I had such a long break, life I guess.
Helloooo Aldege! Thank you, it's great to be back. Of course I love your puzzles, I'm so glad you are still here, and yes, I saw some forum posts and caught up with all of the story of you being away for a bit etc. Life. And yes, I hope Tom is ok, how long has he been away for now? Hope he comes back too.

Thank you JoDeen! Yes, Australia is a pretty nice place, and Tassie is beautiful, I moved here for a quieter life, I had to go somewhere slower and more peaceful, I was getting burnt out at the job I was in, even though it was a great job, there was too much traffic, too fast paced, too many people. I like the quiet life, and found it here in this little country town, it's called Smithton, in North West Tasmania. I guess that's why I found my way back to pbn, finally I feel settled and have time to spend here now. Plus, since I moved here my creativity has returned, I find myself doing all sorts of creative things now.

Thank you Norma, I now have 3 accounts under Marie-Louise, one with user name marz, and one with marz71, and now Tazzy, I had forgotten that I had a break from pbn at another time many years ago and forgot my pw.

Thank you Aurelian, nice to meet you too! And I hope to be making lots more puzzles.

Aha! Here's the official welcome-back thread! As I said on another puzzle, I was going to guess you were Marz, but I would've been embarrassed if you'd said, "Who's that?" Also, the move threw me off. :)

Welcome welcome back! It's hard to believe that 7 years have passed since we last hears from you!!

(Also, I was out of town for a week, and came back to see your name all over the place. ;)
#17: Marie-Louise Ambrey (Tazzy) on Oct 15, 2019
Hi Kristen and thank you! Yes I’m out of hiding and back home. It’s great to see you and my other friends are still here xox
#18: Gary Webster (glwebste) on May 26, 2022
I am so glad you're back, Marie-Louise! I have solved as many of Marz's puzzles as I could find early on (I'm not an artist, but just a solver), and Tazzy is back at or near the top of my favorite's list again!

I try to solve to keep my (old) mind sharp, and your puzzles help a lot. I'm an American (Coloradan?), but have a soft spot for Aussies and Kiwis, as I have met and befriended quite a few in my life. My spot just got a little softer, now that you're back!

This popped up on the site today. Tazzy, I just LOVE your puzzles. Always strong images with good composition, never very easy, and lots of wit.

So thank you!
