Well, when I create a puzzle I concentrate on the visual side first, I make sure it is recognisable, then I check it’s line logic solvable, if not I add more pixels till it is, then I remove some pixels too, especially when I go to solve it myself. I know a puzzle is a good one if the helper button can’t solve it straight away and needs manual input. It’s just a lot of going back and forwards till I’m happy with it. Most of my puzzles take a few hours to create, and some will stay unpublished for days until I’m happy with them.
Oh my gosh! I just watched that YouTube video...that is crazy!!! It made me feel a little queasy watching it...I hope my puzzles don’t have that effect :D
