This was really tricky for me, but I used EL on the bottom, either/or logic, or maybe it's called something else? And also needed to use some sideways smile logic toward the end.

I used lots of IEL. :)

I use TripAdvisor all the time. Love it.

Great image. I did a bit of guessing. Logical guessing. Haha.
#5: Belita (belita) on May 14, 2019 [HINT]
I used (almost) symmetry and common sense to solve it. I'm not sure that's legit, but it worked.

Thank you, Jewel!

Belita, whatever works! (✬‿✬)

I'm a stickler for solving puzzles using strictly logic. I usually do this by a clear process of elimination when I have to use edge logic to solve it. This time I happened to choose the correct squares the first time, so I kept going and going and going. Lol, it solved very well.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by infrapinklizzard.
#9: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on May 16, 2019 [HINT]
After Line Logic,
Repeated steps of edge logic on the left 6 in r20 completely places it:
> LL says the left 6 in r20 could be in the range [c7-c24]
> easy Edge Logic left 6 r20 = c7-8 w
> since there are only 3s left in r19, the 6 also cannot go right past c18.
> and because of the 1|2|1 in c13-15, the 6 cannot go past c14 without a conflict in r19
LL

The same (mirrored) happens to the other 6 in r20.
LL finishes all but center of left

from here it's an easy guess, but to find a way to do it logically is not so easy.

Distant EL 6 r9 (vs r11): if the 6 were to go left into c8, there would be no room for the left 2 in r11. So r9c8 must be white
LL to finish

Fun image to solve.

Thanks much, JoDeen and Velma.

Joe, this was a tough one for me, so I thought it would be a good challenge for the regulars. (✬‿✬)
