Puzzle Description:

Irritated to be sated? -- See comment 1

The description is a clue to the subject using cryptic crossword clue rules.*

Every cryptic clue is made up of two parts; a definition, and a literal description of the answer using wordplay. They can be in either order (though not intertwined) and there is no separation between them.

Here is a page describing some of the techniques:

or an easier-to-read PDF:

*The length is not given because the picture gives another clue.

besotted? not exactly sated, but it is the only anagram of "to be sated" that I can think of,

Or the google 'map pin' pictured could indicate:
"dot be eats"

stumped.

Ok, I see the Google map pin and a knife and fork. Or maybe an Irish St. Patty's costume (fake red hair and beard).
"Irritated" COULD be a clue that "to be sated" anagrams to something. Or, "irritated" is the synonym of the answer.

And btw BTea, "besotted" is not quite an anagram of "to be sated" (no a). And what relevance are the knife and fork? Or are they something else?

Me stumped too.

something about "teas/teased"? or tased?
#5: John Macdonald (perlwolf) on Feb 21, 2019 [SPOILER]
fed up

Restaurant?

If not "fed up" (which is quite an elegant answer), I would guess it's a word ending in -ful, like vengeful, but with a meaning closer to "irritated." :)

The red shape looks like a guitar pick, or a planchette from a Ouija board, neither of which lends to a good answer. :)

Fed up sounds good to me :)

John got it, it is "fed up".

For the cryptic learners:
It is a double definition (one of which is a pun).

Irritated (definition)
to be (linking words)
sated? (off-beat definition)

The picture is a restaurant marker, where you'd go to get fed.

I do like "dot be eats", though.

I would guess that irritated would be fed up
