Sorry. I published this without an explanation. As the moon moves from right to left across the background of star on Sunday January 20th it will move into earth's shadow. Although no direct sunlight hits the moon the diffuse light that is diffracted by the earth's atmosphere will cause the moon to be lit by a reddish glow.

This image depicts the full moon at five different stages during the eclipse. I'll be correcting and republishing it to more accurately depict what someone in the western hemisphere will see (weather permitting).
