Sorry. I published this without an explanation. As the moon moves from right to left across the background of star on Sunday January 20th it will move into earth's shadow. Although no direct sunlight hits the moon the diffuse light that is diffracted by the earth's atmosphere will cause the moon to be lit by a reddish glow.#5: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Jan 10, 2019
