I'm inclined to call this Deep Lookahead. I'm glad the title gave me enough of a clue to guide me through.
#2: Philip (Philip) on Feb 24, 2018 [HINT]
Just a little bit of moderate lookahead for me:

ll
el C38: R28-R35 black
ll
deep el C2 (to C1,3): R1-14,30-35 white
ll
el C3: R2-13,32-35 white
deep el C3 (to C2,4): R14-15,30-31 white
ll
el C1: R17 white
el C3: R17 white
ll
deep el (moderate lookahead?) C3 (to C2,6): R18-19 white
ll

el 8 c38 places it.
ll finishes right section
internal el 6 c2 = r1-14, r30-35 w
ll
el 9 c3 = r1-17, r30-35 w
ll
el 2 r17 = c1-2 w
ll
And then I'm at the same place as Philip before his last step. But I don't see how the 9 in c3 can't be in r18. If it were, it would trigger the 2 in r19 which would trigger the 6 in c2. That would then trigger the 2 in r20. Which would then make the rest of r20 white (including c5).(This is definitely in deep lookahead territory) But the 5 in c5 could still be in r21-25. And you can go several more steps without a contradiction. There's no near-term impact on c6.

Whether it requires deep lookahead or not, I just guessed. Also, I like how you made a spoonerism out of shuttlecock, but I just don't get what the image portrays. Please explain?

wishing i had tracked my solve. never moved in the "deep lookahead" territory....lots and lots of moderate lookahead. lots of internal EL, but nothing with that extra step of lookahead. i might try to resolve when i have time and track it.

Aurelian: from left to right, you see an arm holding a badminton racquet (edge on), the top of a person's head with a shuttlecock overhead, and the top of the net, also edgewise.
