I met Doug Jones at a SciFi convention last spring (Mac Tonight was one of his first acting gigs). He's a lovely man!
If you think you don't know Doug Jones, he is usually in full makeup and prosthetics: Abe Sapien, in the Hellboy films; Pan the satyr as well as the creepy old man with eyeballs in his hands, in Pan's Labyrinth; Billy Butcherson (the corpse with his mouth sewn shut) in Hocus Pocus; the fish creature in The Shape of Water, etc.
