Puzzle Description:

This is a beaver, drawn in the style of the Northwest Coast Indians. See his nice big teeth, and his strong claws? He's holding a piece of wood. Everyone sing now... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDs5oTZhncM

Wonderful perspective and a extraordinary puzzle. Happy Canada Day from the U.S! (Will you do a 4th of July for those of us who can't make puzzles?!?) Thanks.

Thanks everyone! Minnie - you want a fourth of July puzzle? I'll have to think about that... maybe I can come up with something. :-)

Hmmmmmm...not a flag, eh? okokokokok...better not be a maple leaf either! lol...not that I have anything against maple leaves...I love maple trees, maple leaves and maple syrup!

Now! On to solve this puzzle!

...nooooot lookin' like a maple leaf...or a loony. Hmmmph...I have used up my Canadian stereotypes. So...this isn't some Harper or Trudeau is it?

Back later!

cool image!

Fantastic! Despite our hostility toward flags on this site, I do recall a rather good Canadian flag once (with a very recognizable maple leaf), and I do believe it was yours, Meg!

I love the way you cut into the face, and I love the lettering too. You always do a great job keeping lettering from being boring!

Thanks, Arduinna! I've done... er, two or three Canadian flags, I think. Had a feeling I had to do my bit to keep up with the Americans. ;-)

And I'm very glad you like the way I cropped the image - I did that to keep it from becoming too symmetrical.

Until the end I was making an old car ... suddenly it got eyes ... I was scared!

I spent last week on a cruise to Alaska... it was great to do this puzzle shortly after my return, since I got to see a LOT of this art style while I was up there. :D
