look at c4: no matter the combination, the top 1 must be in either r1 or r2 and the bottom 1 must be in either r3 or r4.#4: Jill Tallmer (Yidl) on Sep 21, 2018
If the top 1 in c4 were in r2 then the bottom 1 MUST be in r4. That would then create a conflict in c3. So the top 1 cannot be in r2 and so c4r2 must be white.

Now I understand a little better how the ancients could gaze at eight or nine stars and visualize bulls and scorpions and gods of war. I look at this little solution and I see a tiny map of my home state of Maryland. The upper right dot, I guess, is the city of Baltimore and the hole at c3r2 is Washington DC, which is fitting.
