Is this related to the ancient Greek sport of leaping over bulls, as depicted on Greek urns? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bull-Leaping_Fresco#9: Norma Dee (norm0908) on May 24, 2023
It's interesting how man has always found ways of competing against each other. And how people who can't compete will gather to watch. I remember in history class reading about how in the earliest days of the Civil War people would pack a lunch and travel to where the North and South were shooting at each other and find a place where they could sit a watch without being a target.#10: Valerie Mates (valerie) on May 25, 2023
That is horrifying!!
