Puzzle Description:

By writing that in the space, doesn't that mean they FAILED to leave it blank?

Who would have thought a puzzle could be such fun?!? The comments are always the icing on the cake! Thanks, everyone!

I love all the comments. The military uses that expression in their technical books. They write that to show there is not any missing info. As most technical orders are updated regularly, with pages being added/subtracted as needed; it helps ensure the info is correct. Not realizing that a page with needed information is missing could have a negative impact on the mission. Granted, you should be able to tell if into is not there, but.. just in case.

Sorry for such a boring comment. The other comments are much more fun

Not boring at all Sarah. It had to be said. :D

lol, and thanks for the clarification Sarah, makes total sense. BTW view topic #112 if you want to try something new. :D I think it sounds like fun.

Ya know... putting page numbers on the "blank" pages would make more sense than writing the whole thing out. But then again most phone companies usually use this on the back of page 3 of a bill as well.

me neither!

Funny what I learn from these comments. Never having been in the military, I always thought it was for writing my own comments, or perhaps, for doodling.

Also pertains to frequently-scanned documents because double-sided scanning always results in questionable outcomes of lost pages. Keeps sequence.

Whoah! I was surprised to see "Andrew Schulz" commenting on this. I only just solved it now.

I remember this first from the InfoCom InvisiClues where they'd often have a very, very big clue box to reveal that would say nothing, so it was a false scent and discouraged people from trying to guess. I enjoyed the jokes the cluebooks played on me. It made them more worth it. I enjoyed revisiting an online version years later.
