This is not "much guessing". There is only one bit of advanced logic needed:

After LL
EL 4 r17 limits it to [c3-7] so r17c4 must be black
LL to finish.

Found to have a unique solution by infrapinklizzard.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by infrapinklizzard.

Yes, this looks like an origami bird from what I remember. Mine came out more crumpled.

But I'm wondering if any moderate lookahead is needed. Joe's logic works right. But after the hints give out (14%) there were a bunch of 1's to fill in.

Then with 57% the hints gave nothing but R5C14 was a dot.

It's a bit tricky but I rechecked and got through with just line logic twice. I'd rather punt & make sure I'm not seeing things before changing the solvability.

You are correct. r5c14 is the key to a LL solve.

(the black pixel at r5c16 must be either the 2 or the rightmost 1 in that line. Either way, r5c14 must be white)
