solved, but I don't know how the image relates to the title.

Hmm, some questions about this.

1. Is this the perforated tabs that you need to pull to open some mini-cereal boxes? Or is it "cereal" in terms of some grains I can't place? Or is this the inner cereal bag that you need to open, under the box?

2. I got lucky and just assumed symmetry and plowed through. Is there any way to do this? I think it's an interesting puzzle even with the guess, but if there's more logic there I'd be interested. Symmetry, which I used, seems like a cop-out.

I started on impulse with the first 5 on c16, then jogged right and it checked as accurate. Then I spotted the pattern in the numbers and finished it quite quickly.
I'm thinking "cereal" only because but for my dumb luck it could have been a killer ;)

I guess it does look like a sheath of wheat. Difficult to find a starting place, but once that is known, it’s a straightforward solve. I don’t think symmetry is a cop-out. So far, I haven’t seen a puzzle that has symmetrical clues not resolve in a symmetric pattern. Just another way to solve, I think.
