Tough one. I don't want to be anywhere near it when it erupts.

It *sort* of looks like a blue figure with a skateboard. Could it be Olympics-themed? Where's Kurt?

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by valerie.

Is there an official definition of the difference between "moderate lookahead" and "deep lookahead"? It took quite a bit of lookahead, but I wasn't sure which one to call it.

I'm sure it's in the FAQ's somewhere, but Deep lookahead requires keeping 3 or so moves in your head, to decide whether a pixel is placed correctly. I prefer the save-and-solve method, so I can revert if I reach a dead end. :)

there is a definition somewhere. but moderate look-ahead is 2 moves, such as el, iel, 2-way, and smile..... "deep" requires 3 moves or more.

I'm right here, silly!

I don't remember what inspired this exactly, but it's a pyramid.... scientists have used drones to fly over them and found EMF radiating from the center. I semi-remember Joe saying it's more or less from the shape vs something actually coming from them. and that there over 3000 known pyramids across the world, and prob more that are lost or grown over

Totally enjoyed solving. Just had to experiment to find some of the next moves. When I found them it was logical. Thanks for the puzzle.

There may not be as much advanced logic as we think.

After filling in the colors and the 2 in row 11, I used edge logic on C6 R6-7-8. A 3 leaves a 2 in column 7. Then once the 6 in R20 was filled, I used edge logic to block out R20 C13/14. So there are a couple instances of edge logic, but thankfully no advanced lookahead.

Thanks to Kurt for the explanation, too! I assumed a volcano, despite a lack of red squares, but I see the drone now.
